National Smooth Dancers holds an Annual Convention each Labor Day weekend, sponsored by the chapters on a rotating basis.  The 2009 Convention is being hosted by the Los Angeles Chapter in Torrance.

Each Convention is filled with dance, with major events Friday to Monday, including the med afternoon and evening dance sessions.  There is always lots of activity; general dancing, competitive events, and chapter presentations, as well as spectacular exhibitions and instruction by outstanding professionals. 

This weekend is a dancer’s dream.  Members from all chapters attend, and await this weekend eagerly.  A must-do sell-out every year.
