It gives me great pleasure to welcome you to the web site of the Los Angeles Chapter of National Smooth Dancers, the home of Ballroom Dance!
We hold monthly dances usually ending with a meal and usually having a dance lesson included in the price of admission. Several times a year, we hire a live band to perform for us. The LA Chapter has almost from its inception had live bands specifically trained in ballroom dance music to play for some of our dances. Nothing beats a big wooden floor and live music!

We encourage all levels of dance expertise; this is a good place to go to practice if you’re taking lessons. We generally have two mixers in which we change partners, usually a foxtrot and a waltz. It is not required that you join in, but occasionally changing partners will make you a better dancer and it’s always a lot of fun.
